Why do you take us all the way thru season five and now you do not know when or if you will release season six. It is not fair to us to be devoted to this show and not being given something more than, “no pending date for release.” Longmire is a great show. Your viewers deserve an answer. Without us where would you be. I will not continue viewing Netflix if you don’t make a statement soon. This is an inconsiderate way too treat loyal viewers.
Longmire, is certainly the best crime drama going right now. That’s my opinion, of course, but consider I’ve been watching them since Ironside was the best one. It deserves a other season, that ends with a climax. Not a cliff dangler.
Yeah, i got netflix for Longmire and Last Kingdom. I’m pretty upset they canceled Longmire. Which I just cant understand. If netflix dumps last Kingdom i will dump netflix and I will be done with tv all together. It isn’t worth it.

Newsflash for the decision makers at Netflix — bean counters routinely fail to consider non-quantifiable factors when advising you on the profitability of keeping shows in production. Numbers don’t lie, but numbers don’t always tell the whole tale.
Thank you, Netflix for picking up Longmire. It is an outstanding series. If the writing, direction and thought-provoking story lines keep going, it would easily outdistance even the James Arnes/Gunsmoke benchmark. Don’t give up on this program.

Thanks for a truly great down to earth show with characters that are incredibly deep and easy to relate to. Plot is excellent and believable. I would expect to drive there to this town and see everyone of these characters. You can not leave us all hanging in suspense, so please continue with this amazing show.

Netflix blew it too! Season 6 will be the last. We will have to keep up with the continuing adventures of Walt, Vic and Standing Bear through Craig Johnson’s novels. Sad, sad, sad that TV networks lack the vision to bring truly great TV drama to connoisseurs of truly great drama and script writing.
We love this show, if it is canceled there will be very little on tv to watch.

Longmire is one of the best shows I have ever watched. I grew up in Montana and would watch Gunsmoke and Rifleman. Now there is a contemporary western that kicks ass. Please keep the episodes coming, love it!

Robert Parker. Aka. Walt Longmire is this generations John Wayne. I remember as a kid I couldn’t wait buy another John Wayne movie. I feel that same feeling when I see the new seasons of Longmire. Walt is the man U have spent your whole life aspiring to be and who your kids will dream of being. It will be a sad day if it ends soon. So plz don’t stop the coolest western of all time. I agree. Actually I stumbled onto this show by accident. Another great Netflix series had ended “Hell on Wheels” which I loved but did ended abruptly and left me hanging.
I was addicted immediately to this show! The characters are more believable and Walt is perfect as the sheriff.

My wife and I bing watched all 4 seasons only to be suprised that we not only have to wait until late Sept to see season 5, but that there may not be a season 6. I hope Netflix does not end the searies with a cliff hanger but gives this show and its fans an ending it deserves like the producers of Justified did. My parents, on my recommendation, just got hooked as did my two sons and their wives. so many studios underestimate some shows yet overestimate others. Netflix, don’t foul this up.

I also joined Netflix just so i could watch Longmire. I don’t watch many TV shows due to the violence, foul language, poor grammer, blaring music, lack or morals, poor examples for young people, etc. that most prime time shows exhibit. Longmire is one of few series that manages to show the best and worst of people in an mature, thoughtful manner. The excellent writing has provided the actors with material that has brought out the best in their acting, especially for Lou Diamond Phillips. Also, it is enlightening to have issues that the Native American people are currently facing brought to light. Thank you Netflix for picking up this series. I hope you will continue it for a sixth season and beyond.

I began watching Longmire on A&E on day I series 1. I was sooo sad when A&E cancelled after season 4. This is an awesome series & was excited season 5 was being picked up by Netflix even though I don’t subscribe.

I know that it takes a lot of time, money, and effort on the part of actors, producers, locations, ,and All involved to produce, promote and put forth any television series. But for a series, of the caliber, such as Longmire must be doubly tasking. it is extremely hard for me to watch just one episode and wait or work until I find time to watch the next.. The characters are so real and true to themselves. The twists and turns keep me on the edge of my seat. The actors who play those characters are excellent! PLEASE do not cancel this show! QUALITY is a dying art!

The story lines are great; the actors/characters are down-to-earth and entertaining. I really love all of the Native American representation as well as the strong female roles (while still maintaining strong male roles; well done). The scenery is absolutely fantastic. Please keep this show. This is a gem among all of the junk shows out there.

This is one of most down and dirty, keep you on the edge of your seat. I love the characters and the Native American Rez culture that is drawn in. The writer does a great job creating this storyline. I have never been a fan of westerns and as a matter of fact never watched one. My husband starting watching Longmire and I sat down one day and started watching it and was instantly hooked. I watch seasons 1-4 and was on the edge of my sear waiting for season 5. I was not disappointed, but the way you left it you absolutely have to continue with season 6 and so on. Not only is it the best show, but it’s something my husband and I watch together so therefore we get to spend qualities together. I agree with people who say they feel like the town and characters are real. Please please please don’t end it. GO LONGMIRE!!!!!!!!

Please renew Longmire…. I’ve been a devoted Netflix customer for many years and was very pleased when you picked up Longmire from A&E…You owe the devoted fanbase of this show a wrap up season if you choose to end the run…..Season 5 was great…but if you intend on ending this show…please do it correctly….and announce that season 6 will be it’s finale…

I have just finished season 5 of Longacre and they are left with more cliff hangers than 5 mountain climbers! I have read all of CRAIG Johnsons Longmire novels and all 5 seasons of the show. All are outstanding. It would be one of the greatest TV tragedies of ALL TIME if this excellent series is not renewed. BRING ON SEASON 6,7,8,9,10 ETC

Longmire is a great, great show. Please do not cancel it. The acting is wonderful and the storyline is not typical, other than Walt’s always trying to tell and live the truth. He reminds me of how it used to be. Netflix, I will always be a good customer if you keep this one going.
My wife and I totally love Longmire…we totally agree that it is a breath of fresh air. We can’t stand the sitcoms on regular tv or the so called drama shows that aren’t worth our time…Please Netflix renew a great show and great actors for more seasons, the tv public needs something to sink their teeth into rather than tv dribble !
I like to wait until I can watch all of the episodes for a season in a marathon and have not been disappointed thus far. The Season 5 ending was the best thus far. I cannot believe Netflix has not already signed Season 6. There are going to be a lot of very disappointed viewers if Season 6 is not aired.

Absolutely can NOT get enough of LONGMIRE. We are addicted. Love Walt and all the actors. A friend in Tenn. Sent us the first season and before we had finish it (DVD) I had ordered 2 and 3. Then ordered 4. I have recently ordered 1 thru 4 for my son and his girlfriend for Christmas. I’m anxious to get #5. The suspense after the 4th season is getting to us. Want to see what is going to happen. I’ve never been so wrapped up in a program. KEEP THEM COMING!!!! PLEASE.

PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL THIS SHOW!!! I love reading the books by Craig Johnson but it is so exciting to see the stories come to life! The cast is excellent and believable. This show is excitingly different than most of the blah blah blah shows on TV. Please don’t discontinue something that has become such a favorite of so many! I am planning to get Netflix so that I can continue watching this show but if it is canceled, I WILL seriously reconsider this purchase! Longmire gives a realistic view of what Native Americans endured and I have always had a great respect for them. Lou Diamond Phillips has always been a favorite of mine (soooo hot!) And what can you begin to say about the gorgeously rugged Robert Taylor! OMG this is a fantastic show! Please, please think very carefully before canceling. By doing so, you will lose a huge number of viewers\fans!

The enjoyment level and admiration for this series, “Longmire,” is immeasurable. Our family thanks Netflix for rescuing its viewers the last two seasons. We respectfully ask Netflix for a sixth season.
And, for anyone who has a chance to visit Las Vegas NM, please visit the Plaza Hotel, and walk across the street to Walter Longmire’s office. What a delightful experience.
I absolutely love this show. The interweaving of cultures is fascinating. I discovered this show on Netflix 2 weeks ago, and have been watching Longmire in two to three hour sessions. I just finished watching the last episode of season 5 – and was so disappointed to realize there is no season 6 as of yet. Please renew this show, it has quite a following.
We all await season 6.

At last a TV show that equals and even surpasses HOUSE! I just finished watching the last episode of season 5 and have now discovered that there are no more episodes to watch. I am a male 68 years old, terminally ill and this show has breathed life back into my sick body. Now I will fight to stay alive in hope that I will live long enough to pick up where the show has left off. I sensed that there was a correlation between Walt’s daughters going into the sweat lodge and Standing Bears predicament and that she would see what was happening to him. I have always been a fan of Lou Diamond Phillips but never cared for the original movie star Robert Taylor of the 50s and 60s whom I never thought much of as actor. However the Man who plays Walt is perfect and totally believable in in his role as are all of the rest of the cast. The script is brilliant and the “relationship” between Walt and Vic is a great background for every plot as it is like an explosion that could happen at any minute. And Again the actress who portrays Vic is perfect and would be impossible to replace. though I am a voracious reader who has never been much of a TV watcher I have become addicted to Longmire and will be extremely disappointed should it end before I do.
This is the best show on tv please give us more I’m so hooked please re-new season 6789 10 give us more I haven’t even watched episode 10 yet because I know it then five will be over please I’m begging
My husband and I are both hooked on Longmire. We watch at least one episode a night and sometimes we binge watch. The characters with their talents are so phenomenal. We are looking forward to another 25 years or so of this great entertainment. It is truly something to look forward to after a hectic day. I’m hoping Walt and Vic get together. Both are very sexy actors. Donna just doesn’t have it. I hope they can somehow bring Branch back. Cady needs him. I love Ruby and Ferg. We can’t wait for another season and many more to follow. I love this show. I really miss when it is not on the air. We binge watch and then hate to see it end. I love that there isn’t a lot of special effects and that you keep the realism of the books. I have started reading the books because I miss the series so much. I have read five of them in four days. Thank you Netflix for keeping this going. I look forward to season six.

I’ve binged watch this for 6 solid days and have become so invested in the storyline, characters. I’m gripped and really don’t feel like we should have hang for this!. After watching the series through and through, and finding out that season 6 is on hold/pending, that just sucks and has left me emotionally traumatized… (I can’t get it out of my head).

Longmire is a show my family watches together my daughters are in their early and mid twenties, my husband and I are in our 40s and 60s. This demonstrates the age range of the audience for this show. Do not cancel it you will ruin our family nights together if you do.
Longmire’s cast is like family to us. We watch old episodes when we get lonely for our “kin”. I hate losing the show. Does it really have to end? Craig Johnson’s still writing!

My husband and I love this show! It is a huge disappointment that Netflix has decided to bring it to a close. Longmire is one of the best TV series around, and it doesn’t rely on immorality and darkness to try and keep you interested. The characters are memorable and interesting. The stories are engaging and keep you wanting more, and families can actually sit down together and watch it. Ending this showing is truly a terrible loss! Please consider continuing Longmire.

I have loved reading the comments on this phenomenal show. It gives me hope to realize that I am not the only one disappointed with the state of television offerings. I think we have not been given enough viewing options. The quality shows with heroes, moral dilemmas, cultural relevance, interesting characters and plots have all disappeared. I hope our appreciation for Longmire wakes up a few executives to the hunger for good, quality family entertainment. Please Netflix–take the lead here. There is a lot more at stake than money.

Am glad to see another season, only wish that it could keep going. My brothers told us about the show being on netflix. Therefore we got Netflix and enjoyed getting to watch the show. No way that season 5 closer was a real ending for Longmire! Loose ends just isn’t even close! The sweat has to clarify some things, Walt and Cady have to resolve this struggle. Donna, ehhh, I still don’t think she is the one, but neither is Vic. Henry deserves some peace, and a seat on the tribal council if not THE seat, tribal chief. So many relatable characters, struggles, and pertinent focus. The characters are perfectly cast and directors are getting the very best out of each actor! GOTTA GET A SEASON 6, and would really be comforted and anxiously await more to come.
When does the 6th season start??? And what ever you do KEEP “LONGMIRE” on for a 6, 7, 8, etc., season!!! This is a great show with great characters and a great story line!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!
Longmire is the best show on TV anywhere and network. Do NOT cancel it. The actors and writing are so intriguing and the show is riveting. There is so much garbage on TV please leave something worth watching on for us old timers.
In this day and age, it’s so hard to find quality programs to watch without violence and profanity galore. Its not like the days of The Lone Ranger, Hop-A-Long Cassidy, The Cisco Kid, Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Sky King and Gunsmoke. Longmire is a modern day western were Native Americans are treated as human beings and with dignity. Sheriff Walt Longmire is the kind of lawman that others achieve to be but is so seldom attained. Longmire is a fresh wind blowing down a mountain to the valley below. It takes you back to when you could walk the streets alone and leave your car unlocked. The kids could play out front without you worrying if they were safe or not. It’s the programing the family can enjoy together without everyone running to their own separate TV to watch something that no one else wants to see. It makes a house a home again. When was the last time at your house you had family night? That’s what Television Programing is about. To show programs for the whole family without the G, PG, PG-13 & R rating.
Netflix keep quality programs on. Continue Longmire for at least season 6 if not for seasons 7,8,9, etc., etc..
Its hard enough finding a program that keeps your attention to begin with let alone one that has a good storyline that you can follow. Then there’s the actors, they, make the characters so believable. They could be your neighbors. They’re a part of your family, you come to relay on them each and every week for entertainment. Please don’t cancel Longmire, keep it alive and well.
I quit going to the movies because watching Longmire took it’s place. I picked up Netflix because of Longmire and have watched every episode and have encouraged many many of my friends and relatives to do the same. They are hooked on it just as much as I am.
I sure hope you all reconsider and continue the episodes past the 6th season. It’s the best movie on TV——————period.

Someone had called in to our newspaper and commented how good Longmire was. I am visiting my son and daughter-in-law and they have NetFlix. We started watching it and quickly became addicted. I hope as Season 6 goes the producers will know they have a major hit and won’t cancel. I am keeping my fingers crossed because the rest of TV is basically junk.
from what I have read in these notes it is simple keep on with LONGMIRE are cancel it and this could vary well be the end of Netflix keep it on and prosper are let who ever picks it up cash in. REMEMBER STAR TREK.
Please don’t cancel Longmire. You can’t just leave it hanging like it did at the end of season 5 with out closure. That’s why I have NETFLIX is for Longmire. It is a excellant show with good values instead of a lot of the trash they have on now days.
I don’t know any one that doesn’t LOVE this series. We are all looking forward to the next season. It will rip our hearts out when the series is cancelled. There have to be thousands of ways this series can be developed further. If at all possible, please continue it. Take it seriously, because this is one of the top shows ever.

Why is it such a big secret when season 6 will be released. I am about ready to cancel my Netflix subscription if they don’t let us know what is in the future for us subscribers. I have watched every thing of my taste and the same old same old crap is still running.
Loved this show from the beginning. I am very anxious for the next season to begin, since I found out it this was the last season I will not binge watch only to make it last as long as possible.
My wife and I have rewatched the entire season twice, because we love it that much.

I now know the people at Netflix DO NOT watch their own programs. If they saw only one “Longmire” epersode, it would be on for ever and a half.
Longmire is the only reason I stil keep Netfix, great show.
To the Executives and Bean counters at Netflix; why would you cancel a show that has such broad appeal to a starving audience looking for quality FAMILY shows that teaches respect for diversity and others, is full of moral convictions, and shows a GUN, isn’t always the best solution or answer for settling an issue or to bring a criminal to Justice? Canceling this show prove to be a BIG mistake, especially to your expansion plans and desire to attract more viewers in a very competitive streaming market.
I’d like to point out that you’ve also neglected to consider the new fans Longmire has gained during the shows hiatus where pickings were slim to non on Netflix this spring and summer and the five seasons of Longmire was one of the few shows a family could enjoy together. Competition is heating up in the streaming industry with new channels entering the market almost daily giving viewers more choices . You have a winner in Longmire and an audience that is growing; we are not teens or millennium based, but a more mature, well educated and family orientated audience.
With every season, more and more people find or discover Longmire and its an audience hungry for a good American “Western”, where smarts, common sense, and do the right thing is the driving force. The cast is great and the actors well suited to their roles, the scripts are well written and true to the characters and the stories lines; all of which makes this show a hit and a winner . DON”T CANCEL LONGMIRE, continue to let it grow. It’s finding the right audience!
In my opinion, Longmire is the best series ever attempted. The scripts are unmatched. The actors superb. I suppose that MASH and CHEERS had to end, They were funny and provided quick comedic and poignant glimpses..
Longmire provides far more. It is a classic …. To shut down the story will foster a loss that will force me to attend more Indian Casinos. I am saddened and depressed by the ending and may have to try a sweat tent.
Please bring more seasons of Longmire!!!
