About Chesapeake Shores

The multi-generational family drama of “Chesapeake Shores” follows Abby O’Brien (Meghan Ory), a high-powered career woman, divorcee and mother to twin daughters, who makes a trip from New York City to her hometown of Chesapeake Shores. Her visit home brings Abby face to face with her past, including her high school sweetheart Trace (Jesse Metcalfe), her uncompromising father Mick (Treat Williams) and her esteemed grandmother Nell (Diane Ladd). Abby realizes the toll her career has taken on her ability to be a hands-on mother to her daughters, and considers a permanent move to Chesapeake Shores.

Based on the novels of the same name by New York Times bestselling author Sherryl Woods.

    • I agree…6 episodes is too ‘short’ for an entire Season, we were just getting to know everyone and then boom!, over, disappointing…I love this show!…I really enjoy Hallmark TV shows and movies, more wholesome compared to a lot of other shows/movies

  16. Please bring Chesapeake Shores Season Two, but let it be continuing-not with years passed. Let the story show what happened to Trace and the others, and let it be current. Love this wonderful series but too short. Left us hanging about everyone and everything!! Don’t make us wait a year before you bring it back!!

    Please, please continue to have series on!! With all Sheryl Woods has written about Chesapeake
    Shores, there should be tons of stories!!!

  26. Please bring this show back. I recorded the last three shows of the first season on my U-Verse DVR, but then changed to direct TV and now I have direct TV DVR. My recording didn’t transfer over.

  31. There are few continuing shows on Hallmark that I don’t care for. And this is ONE of them. Cancelling Cedar Cove for this was a mistake on Hallmark’s part. I for one would love to see a resurrection of Cedar Cove [which won’t happen].
