Each episode of Evil Things features two stories of people who claim they’ve survived frightening paranormal activity caused by a haunted object ranging from toys to jewelry and even furniture. Anything can become a vessel for the dead. Based on compelling first-person accounts, each twisted mystery exposes the sinister secrets hiding within seemingly innocent items… some of which could be sitting in your own home right now.
The premiere of Evil Things recounts two stories. First, the joy Kara gets from her boyfriend’s unexpected Christmas gift turns to terror during a camping trip with friends. When she hears strange crying and terrifying screams in the woods away from the campsite, Kara is convinced that the new camcorder she received is a paranormal portal to a brutal kidnapping and double murder committed by its previous owner. Then, married life and work fall dangerously off-balance soon after Justin inherits his estranged father’s only possession: a gold pocket watch. He’s soon plagued by violent blackouts that put everyone he cares about in danger but provides the missing clue as to why his dad abandoned him years earlier.
