About Pure Genius
PURE GENIUS is a cutting-edge medical drama about a young Silicon Valley tech titan who enlists an exceptional veteran surgeon with a controversial past to run a state-of-the-art hospital with an ultramodern approach to medicine. Billionaire genius James Bell (Augustus Prew) built Bunker Hill Hospital determined to revolutionize healthcare and treat the rarest and most challenging medical mysteries, at no charge. Bell persuades maverick surgeon Dr. Walter Wallace (Dermot Mulroney) to be his Chief of Staff, who believed medicine is a human endeavor, not technological, until a “eureka” moment at the hospital convinced him otherwise. This is a show that is educational, very well acted, all actors engaging, and certainly should not be cancelled
This makes me SO angry. One of the only truly new concept shows on TV today. Great acting, great stories. This is such a lose.
CBS seems to be low on the mentality rating. Is it too much to ask for great shows to continue. Pure genius is an ultimate show, who ever created it is a genius. Can we just keep shows that stimulate the mind and not the brain dead garbage that CBS keeps for the fog minded. What about us people with a mind for genius entertainment!
Great show its sad that they always seem to take off good shows. And then they keep shows that are not worth the time to even worth watching. I hope another network picks it up if anything else, really enjoyed it alot. The problem with people viewing tv programs now days, most people are dvr recording. So i don’t know if they take that in to consideration when they check the people that are actually watching it at the time that it’s on. And that may be why they’re canceling the show. But most people are either working or doing something else. That they may not have a chance to watch it the night its on. So they record it to watch it when they have the chance to. I just think they need to give it more then one season. But they have been doing that with alot of really good shows lately. One season then cancel them. I really liked it alot was really looking forward to seeing what was going to happen in the next season.🙁
PLEASE renew Pure Genius! One of the FEW TV shows that is clean and uplifting! Never missed a night of it!!!

I loved this show. … the actors were compelling,… the plots and technology were brilliant.

I loved Pure Genius. Entertaining and educational. Seems like cbs doesn’t know a good show when they have one. So sad while other aimless, mindless t.v. series go on and on and on.
Please reconsider the cancellation of Pure Genius. It is a very entertaining series. So tired of cop shows or murder tv series. this one was different and very enjoyable.
I thoroughly enjoyed the program and am disappointed that it has been cancelled. If it’s due to ratings, maybe it’s because some of us record programs to watch later.
I CAN”T BELIEVE IT!!!! Every new show from last season that I liked has been canceled. I really made a point to find new shows that I enjoyed because so many of my favorites were ended the year before. Notorious, Pitch and now Pure Genius. These were all unique, with great casts and interesting. Maybe there should have been more promoting. I have no interest in watching shows about traveling back in time, vampires, shows with the story chasing the same thing for the whole series, war (There’s enough to watch on CNN) or shows that I watched in the 70’s. Hence the uniqueness of these shows. I am sooooo disappointed as this was my last hope of one of my favorites to begin a new season. Just might give up TV.
