About The Affair
The Golden Globe winning drama series, created by WGA Award-winning playwright, writer/producer and showrunner Sarah Treem (House of Cards, In Treatment), and executive produced by Treem, Jessica Rhoades (Sharp Objects), Hagai Levi (In Treatment), and Michele Giordono (Nurse Jackie), will return to the network in 2019. Currently in production, the series explores the emotional and psychological effects of an affair that destroyed two marriages, and the crime that brings these individuals back together.

It will seem somewhat empty without one of the two main characters, Alison, not appear in Season 5. Such a tragic loss! The ending does not do her justice. She had made healthy choices and changes when she was murdered. Everyone now, even Cole, believes she took her own life….worse victim than being murdered. Her child in particular later in life needs to know Alison did not commit suicide. Ben needs to spend his life in prison. I hope in some way her death will be vindicated in Season 5.
