Winner of the 2016 Emmy Award for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program, Born This Way follows a group of seven young adults born with Down syndrome as they pursue their passions and lifelong dreams, explore friendships, romantic relationships and work, all while defying society’s expectations.
In their willingness and courage to openly share their lives, through a lens that is not often shown on television, we learn they have high hopes just like anyone else. The series also gives voice to the parents, allowing them to talk about the joy their son or daughter brings to their family, and the challenges they face in helping them live as independently as possible.

Please renew, I’ve just found this program by word of mouth this year strted with one episode n ended up watching prior sesaons n ran out of episodes to watc. Fell in love with the show. Renew Yes!
I absolutely love this show. I drove special Ed school bus for 27 years. I had many down syndrome children. None were so highly functioning. Like these guys. I loved them so much. So loving and happy always made my day. It broke my heart when Steven broke up with Megan. She is so sweet. It hurt her so much. This show is so refreshing from all the trash you see on other shows.
I love this show it was to be aired August 15 2019 but it wasn’t on why?????
