About Broken
Broken was originally scheduled to premiere May 23, 2017 on BBC1, however, it was pushed by 1 week to May 30, 2017 following the Manchester terror attack.
In a statement, the BBC said of the decision to reschedule Broken:
"Following last night's tragic events in Manchester, BBC1's new drama series Broken will not start tonight as planned but has been rescheduled for next Tuesday 30 May."

In Broken, Sean Beanstars as Father Michael Kerrigan, a Catholic priest presiding over a Northern urban parish. Modern, maverick, and reassuringly flawed, Father Michael must be confidante, counsellor and confessor to a congregation struggling to reconcile its beliefs with the challenges of daily life in contemporary Britain.
I just discovered this series since I have just purchased BritBox streaming service, and I was really captivated! I love all the characters and it’s great to see so many actors I love to watch. This show is quality! This show is inspiring in seeing the struggles that the characters are going through, and I think people from all walks of life can relate to it.
I sure hope there will be more seasons of it. I look forward to it! I love Sean Bean and anything he acts in, and the storyline about Paula Malcomson’s character, Roz. Love her acting too!!
