COOPER’S TREASURE is a new documentary series that tells the incredible story of a legendary astronaut and the secret treasure map he began from space. In the 1960s, Gordon Cooper was one of NASA’s original space pioneers, breaking the record for the longest space flight while completing a 122 hour mission. Sent to detect nuclear sites, it was on this mission he discovered something extraordinary that he would keep secret for over 40 years. While in space Gordon noticed a series of anomalies around the South Caribbean and photographed over 100 of them. These anomalies were dark patches that appeared on his photographs of the earth. He believed there was only one explanation for these and thought them to be sunken ships, including the lost fleet of Christopher Columbus. Working for decades in secret, he created a map that he believed could uncover billions of pounds-worth of treasure. Before he passed away, Gordon shared his secret with his long-time friend Darrel Miklos in the hope that the exploration would continue and the mystery would finally be solved. Now, the one man Gordon trusted has the research and evidence, together with Gordon’s map from space and is setting out with a team of seasoned explorers and researchers to once and for all accomplish his friend’s long-held dream – to uncover the world’s greatest treasures.

I vote to re new Cooper’s treasure.. was a great show the whole family loved it. We would also go to my uncle’s to watch it Wednesday morning because we would always record it from the night before. I think it need more time for people to find an enjoy the show

This show has brought back some wonderful memories. Years ago I lived next door to a man who was a diver and he talked often about his friend Mel Fisher and their search for the Atocha. Mel needed some funding and I would have loved to help but circumstances being what they were that wasn’t possible. I was so pleased to hear that after such a long search he was successful. Good things come to he who hustles while he waits.
It would be a sham if the powers to be, does not have a season 2 or 10.
Renew this show…..please. A huge many more view this series than you think. They just do not post their positive feelings on the show as some of us have.

A series like this sure beats all the ugly trash that is on tv. This is real and FUN for entire family. I would think sponsors would wait in line for this one, being a series for entire family. A gold doubloon to all who support this series!

This is a show that MUST continue.. by now you know if treasure was found.. yes a found anchor is treasure, but I’m talking about the mother load.. if more treasure has been uncovered it’s a no brainer to continue season 2 and so on.. shows come and go so fast these days.. if a show has low ratings that show gets kicked to the side.. I understand!! It’s business, but with a show like this… failure only falls in the hands of the network.. the network needs to promote this show better if low ratings is the case.. this show seems to be one of the only real treasure shows to date, but this show is more than just a treasure show.. I don’t see how this show could fail.. personally I think the network/producer could cut back the recaps.. this would give us more footage..
Market the show better and get the ratings up.. drop a season 2 showing found treasure and watch the ratings go through the roof..
Bring the show back! It is much more entertaining and interesting than some of the others on the channel. We really looked forward to Tuesday nights.

I couldn’t wait for Tuesday night to watch this show. He finds an anchor and you cut him loose? Come on Discovery. I followed all the space flights while growing up in the 60’s so I love the science of the show and history. Please bring it back.

I JUST CAME ACROSS THIS SHOW. IT WAS OBVIOUSLY IN RE-RUNS. I BECAME SO ADDICTED THAT I RECORDED IT TO MAKE SURE I DID NOT MISS IT. I WAS SO HOPING FOR MORE. I HOPE THAT THE DATE OF JUNE 22,2018 IS CORRECT. I WILL BE TUNNED IN FOR SURE
I hope Cooper’s Treasure gets renewed in 2019 for yet at least another season. Darryl has his hands full, especially keeping the treasure location of Season 2 a secret. Hopefully his sponsors realize the real treasure samples are the tip of the iceberg of the Bahamas location he has home-in-on and keep backing him. For the more distant future, there are dozens more potential treasure locations from Gordon Cooper documents.
