About The Coroner
The Coroner Series 2 released November 21, 2016 on BBC One. Series 3 has been cancelled.
Crime drama follows a solicitor who returns to the seaside town she left as a teenager to take up the post of coroner, becoming an advocate for the dead as she investigates sudden, violent or unexplained deaths.

Is it possible for the BBC to explain why series 3 has been cancelled? I’m guessing it’s because they prefer soaps and talent(less) programmes. Shame if it has been cancelled though.
I love The Coroner and I would love to have it to continue on you all have just left us hanging. This is a wonderful show, please bring it back.

Please don’t cancel the coroner on bbc1 its an excellent programme like father brown its more popular than you think theres a lot of unhappy people waiting for series 3 and so on it deserves a long run its well acted by all in a wonderful place and very entertaining its not just bored housewife’s who watch it the two main characters are great Claire and matt and were waiting for them o get back together so come on there’s enough rubbish on TV bring back the good stuff that we love

This is disappointing news. I’ve really enjoyed both series. I like Clair Goose and Matt Braddock. They have a great chemistry and storyline. It’s a shame to end the show, especially given the last episode.
I did prefer the ending of each episode in Series 1— “All rise for Her Majesty’s Coroner’. Gave me chills.
I will miss this show. Even more than my disappointment in the BBC for canceling the show, I must thank them for the two brilliant series we did get.
Why cancel a entertaining show
