About Flipping Ships

In the 90s, Singer Edwin McCain's passion for music took him straight to the 'Top 10' charts, and these days, he's whistling a new tune. In all-new Animal Planet series Flipping Ships, which premiered Friday, April 24, at 10 PM (ET/PT), McCain straps up for a new task, restoring and reinvigorating abandoned, ramshackle boats. His goal is to provide each client with an opportunity to forge deeper connections to the marine environment on a one-of-a-kind vessel. FLIPPING SHIPS follows McCain and his Boats Have Souls business in this six-part series. In each episode, this quirky band of gear heads perform acts of nautical salvation on boats that have been abandoned for so long, they're beginning to forge with nature... and not in a good way! When boat's floorboards have long been replaced by grass and dirt, the team goes to work reinventing these disasters into fishing vessels, open water cruisers and family houseboats.
