About Ghost Wars
Ghost Wars Season 1 released October 5, 2017 on Syfy.
Set in the remote Alaskan town of Port Moore as it is being overrun by paranormal forces, it centers on local outcast Roman Mercer who must overcome the town’s prejudices and his own demons if he’s to harness his repressed psychic powers and save everyone from the mass haunting threatening to destroy them all.

Why? Canceled??
I really don’t think the series got enough promo because every time I told someone about the series they asked me what channel it was on and when did it come on. I think for those who did see the first season Syfy should reevaluate it”s potential.
