About The Kicks

The Kicks follows Devin and the team on their journey to come out on top. The first season finds The Kicks going head-to-head with the boys' team, helping Devin regain her confidence after losing her lucky headband, Devin being forced to make a decision between her friend and what's best for the team, and Devin overcoming adversity after an injury.

  7. We love this show. Not too many family shows on tv left. Keep this one, my kids ages 8,8 and 12 loved it. Story lines have good character building advice. Kids need examples of how to act and react in situations related to their age. Would love to see parents lose their temper once in a while to be a little more realistic. Love all the characters! The parents are adorable. Like the kids and Especially Mirabelle.

  17. I have two daughters (8 and 11), They love this show and we (the parents) love this show too. We watch as a family. The relationships are positive/hopeful and yet address real teenage/pre-teen issues. I wish there were more shows like this on the air–then we might not restrict TV time so much.. We are slowing down our watching so that we won’t get through all the episodes that quickly. That Amazon made/bought this series actually brings a little loyalty to me–I like the company morel. Please renew. (I know several other parents who share this view of The Kicks!)

  20. LOVE this series!! Our entire family just finished season one, and we are so eager for season 2, especially given the cliffhanger at the end of season one. Meaningful plots, inspiring storylines, realistic (and fun) dialogue– My 15 year old daughter AND 8 year old daughter both begged for us to keep watching episode after episode. Thanks for this series! Please renew it so that we can see what happens to these neat young ladies 🙂

  23. we watched it in one night .it is so good, I play soccer and it is so cool for me to be inspired when i see them play and grow as a team together. And see them work together as a team.and the reason why i want it to come back on is because i can teach my team mates tons of things from this show.

  42. Finally an entertaining show for the family!!!! I’m so tired of lame tween movies where everyone hates everyone and there is no respect for people in general. We want more shows like this one!!! So glad someone out there has the talent to make a show like this (teamwork, eating right, exercising, making wise choices, listening to parents, having a close family instead of major sibling rivalries, what true friendship looks like), Thanks for making the focal point WHO the characters are instead of what they are wearing. Love the unique personalities – shows how being myself is the best contribution I can make . Like the script – it’s realistic for each character. Love that the parents actually talk to each other and take time for their kids. Unbelievably happy to find a show like this! Thanks a million!

    My soccer loving children searched the Internet profusely for additional info about the show and release date for season 2.

My 9 year old loves Alex Morgan and was excited to see the shows after reading the series! Please keep them coming!

  59. I am the father of a 12 year old son and a 10 year old daughter. I have been coaching my son’s soccer teams since he was 6, my daughter on the other hand has insisted for years that she hated soccer.. It is difficult to find things for all three of us to do together as my kids have very different interests and personalities. All of us enjoyed Season 1 of The Kicks and my daughter now says she even wants to give soccer another try. I love the values and the GIRL POWER tone is refreshing. We are EAGERLY awaiting Season 2!!!!

  66. OMG!!! I absolutely love the show and it’s cast. The characters are not bratty and all about boys like the people their age are. There is not a lot of teenage drama, and it teaches us how to be leaders. I have gotten to know Sixx Orange (Devin) by watching her youtube channel and she is not a bratty teenage girl. In fact she is the exact opposite, she is a kind, witty, happy, active, and shows herself to be a leader. This show is the best and I hope that Amazon renews it!! PLEASE RENEW!!!

  72. Dear Alex Morgan, and Sixx Orange, and all The Kicks Crew. We need you out there. The motivation that brings kids up is unimaginable. Devin has a really great character, and supports her friends well enough to know that this show is one of the most upbeat guys, undescribable, motivating, and just awesome example of what a real friend is. Soccer means a lot to me. To us. I sure can count, just like Zoe says when she talks to Devin about the goalie situation. I really can count. But I cannot count how many young soccer playing girls motivated by this show there are out there. Devins family is like a balloon. They bring her up, they pop if she does something wrong like break curfew, the deflate if they are sad. But they will always be there for her. Even Cody is there for her. Cody’s smile just makes Devins day, we can really tell. We’d like to see more of Cody and Devin together. They’re a great match, and are great friends. I’m thinking you could do something with Steven and Mirabelle. They seem the type. It’s just, I’ve been waiting 2 years, and so has the rest of the world. 2 years. Hey Alex Morgan. Remember, it’s never really over until the whistle blows. And I’m the referee here. I haven’t blown my whistle yet. Kudos to all that have been patient. I hope y’all on The Kicks Crew realise that it’s time. It’s time to shine. Get out there Devin. Go to your family. Go to Emma and Zoe and Mirabelle and Cody and Coach Rivas and your team. There are so few shows that are fun and deal with issues that most teenage girls face in a way that they can relate too. I hope Amazon will consider coming out with Season 2. We need Corporate America to be responsible and not only consider the profitability. Do it for the next generation

  78. My family is so upset the way season 1 ended on a cliffhanger. Please renew the show!!! My son was literally in tears when I told him that was the last show. He said it wasn’t fair to end the show without knowing what happens with Devin’s ankle. I totally agree!! People are invested in the characters and plot line and want and need closure. If the show is not renewed, there will be many disappointed kids!

  81. The kicks is a great wholesome show! I mean, look at all the comments! I’ve played soccer for six years so this show fascinates me.. Kicks is family friendly and their arent many family friendly shows out there anymore. I love how the parents discipline their children when needed, and don’t just say ” ohhh, there just teenagers.” or whatever. It’s a valuable lesson. I also am very grateful for no stupid teenage drama and no serious obsessions over boys. Please please please make a season 2!!! I hate cliffhangers I need to see how this show ends! Keep up the good work! Continue this show, you obviously have a lot of fans.

But, if you are someone out there who doesn’t even know what the kicks is or absolutely hate it,, think about how many other people want that show. I sware I will ask my parents to sue amazon if they don’t have a season 2! I read all of the books and watched the whole season 1 about 15-20 times! PLEASE!
