About The Little Couple
TLC initially renewed The Little Couple for Season 9, however in June 2016, Discovery terminated the show in the wake of a legal dispute with producers LMNO. As such, The Little Couple Season 9 is currently cancelled with a release date (and the continuation of the show itself) in the balance, pending the result of the lawsuit.
UPDATE (March 2017): The Little Couple Season 9 WILL go ahead after all, with TLC to air the new season of the series from September 19, 2017. Official press announcement:

The fan-favorite little family is back in an all-new season of TLC’s THE LITTLE COUPLE, premiering Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 9/8c. Last season, Jen and Bill were getting back into the groove of regular life after navigating two international adoptions, Jen’s battle with cancer and Bill’s back surgery. Now, audiences get to check back in with Jen, Bill, Will and Zoey as they embark on new and exciting adventures, culminating in one life changing event!
At the start of this season, Jen and Bill take the kids on their first international trip to the United Kingdom when Jen is invited to participate in a conference in Scotland. It’s not all work and no play, however, as the family takes the opportunity to visit a scotch distillery, a castle where Will and Zoey feel quite at home and plenty more adventures as they make their way to London, such as questioning a royal guard and partaking in proper British tea. Throughout the season, the family will continue to expand their horizons stateside, including a visit to Washington D.C. to host an adoption gala, which coincides with Zoey’s fifth birthday celebration! Later in the season, Will also celebrates his birthday during a ski trip to Vermont, where the kids experience snow for the first time.
Viewers will also see Bill and Jen at home doing their daily balancing act of being hard-working parents. Now a few years older, Will and Zoey have become much more independent, and Jen and Bill are presented with new challenges in discipline, difficult conversations and managing potty-talk. The family is always busy as they juggle day-to- day activities such as swimming lessons, karate and speech therapy, as well as big celebrations like Halloween and the winter holidays. In the midst of all this, Bill teams up with Uncle Joe in his latest business venture: a new invention called The Pop-Up Pee Pad.
But the biggest challenge of them all comes out of the blue, when Jen and Bill are presented with a decision that will have a huge impact on the family’s future. After much consideration, Jen accepts a job in St. Petersburg, Florida at the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. While Jen and Bill are excited about their future in Florida, how will Will and Zoey handle the news?

You can be against a show that’s fine but how you went about it probably shows what kind of person you are. “Bitter Looser.” The Little Couple makes me feel good watching it and I hope it comes back real soon.

This is just unacceptable , of all the shows on TV, and this ONE is cancelled because of WHAT, somebody didn’t get a million dollars or more, the love of money is the root of all evil…and this has to be evil…. this show outshines everything else on TV, Another network should pick up this series……and they show reruns from 10 years ago , over and over……..PUT THEM ON TV !
What a shame if this show is permanently taken off the air. It’s one of the few that isn’t filled with controversy, confrontation and overt sexuality. This is one of the few shows on the air that everyone in my house finds uplifting and inspirational.
You got those Duggar sickos back on, but the Little Couple us a problem. Move the show to another network, I’m sick to death of TLC and their obsession with the Duggars.
How sad that such a great show would be cancelled!!!! And I agree with another viewer how could TLC bring back the Duggars and cancel the Little Couple. So sad.

How could TLC do this, This show was watched and enjoyed by the thousands, not only here but internationally as well. It was a wonderful loving show, that shedied light on many subjects that was not even known or talked about much before. You made the greatest mistake of all time by cancelling out The Little Couple. Showing the rest of those idiot shows will never gain you the popularity nor respect to as the Little Couple.
Please bring back the Little Couple., a great family and a great show. Yall keep the Duggers a gross family, just dont get it…

I don’t watch TLC much if any at all. They have taken off shows that were good. such as the Little Couple, Our little family, Seven Little Johnsons,to name a few. This use to be a good, clean family TV network. Not any more. Please bring back shows that are good family shows

Yes, the commercials pay you, but who watches the commercials? The viewers
watch the commercials. What would happen if the viewers stop buying those

I would like the advertisers of Sister Wives to know that none of my friends and family buy their products anymore. The fact that TLC would make money off those poor brainwashed women ..to me it’s akin to sexual and emotional abuse. That filthy pig should be castrated.
And please bring back the Little Couple..they were such role models for young parents ,especially those with kids with disabilities. They always handle even the roughest problems with calmness and clear thinking.

I am so glad to see the support for that wonderful little show. I knew I could not have been the only one that enjoyed the beauty in seeing a loving family navigate through the difficulties of life; all the while maintaining values and morals. Of course it was too much to ask for this show to be continued. Most of america (did not capitalize intentionally) unfortunately wants to see trash! Violence and sex seems to be what sells here unfortunately – look at who was just elected into the presidential seat. The figurehead of a country is usually an accurate depiction of what the country is about, and stands for.
PLEASE BRING THEM BACK….THEY WERE YOUR BEST SHOW EVER. WE MISS THEM.

It’s obvious TLC, and the discovery channel do not read these comments, OR CARE ! Funny how they keep some shows on and show reruns over and over and over again. But they can’t settle their disagreement and start season 9 of the Little Couple????? and as far as Counting On goes, they never show reruns of that one either. There is literraly NOTHING on TV to watch anymore.

I hope jen and bill and their legal team can get out of any contract with tlc/discovery channel and remarket their show and move to a better company with stronger program support. I wish their family much success, and since money will be made in any and all shows out their i would rather it go to these types of shows and folks than the others. Hands down they are great. I agree with the other comments of others. I really enjoyed The Little Couple! I also liked The Seven Little Johnstons. You dropped those and put Duggers back on, their married daughters, but the Dugger parents are on. I also agree about the 90 day shows!!!! Stupid!! Get with it TLC!

With today’s political climate (no matter which side of the fence you’re on), with all the hatred and anger in our country, it’s rare to find a show that can make you smile, make you feel good, make you feel less angry. The Little Couple was one such show. It’s a shame that TLC has allowed the hatred and divisiveness so prevalent in our country now to deny its viewers a show that can help viewers actually forget about all the crap going on in this country. In my opinion, the Duggars should be cancelled, Sister Wives should be cancelled, and The Little Couple brought back immediately.
Hello, This is my ALL TIME FAVORITE SHOW~! It has wonderful, everyday, and interesting people/ family in it. I would rather watch The Little Couple than any other show. They do everyday things and issues. I look so forward to seeing them all again. BUT…in the meantime we are missing out on seeing how and who Will and Zoey are growing into as Children. It might be nice if they could do a few shows to keep us up to date on how they all are doing.
