About Mercy Street
Mercy Street Season 2 release date - January 22, 2017 on PBS.
Mercy Street was cancelled after two seasons (no Season 3), with PBS citing funding and production complications.
I love Mercy Street and look for to each episode. Please tell me that Season 3 will be scheduled soon.
I too really enjoy Mercy Street and would love to see more seasons! As a Civil War buff, I find it fascinating.
Please renew Mercy Street!!
Bring back Mercy Street and bring back Nurse Mary. She is vital to the success of Mercy Street.

Viewers are looking forward to Season 3 and beyond. This gripping glimpse into America’s history is compelling.
Please bring Mercy Street back again! Would love for it to be for an actual full season rather than just a few weeks! So very well done~ we look forward to it every week it airs!!!!!
Please have a season 3. I’m really enjoying Mercy Street.
As an avid fan of historical fiction, my hope is that Mercy Street is renewed for a third season. I just love this series!
I just bought seasons 1 and 2 watched them with admiration! Then , you go and cancell it! I am just devastated! What about Miss Finney? What about Sam ? What about the Greens? !!!!
This was one of the best series ever done anywhere – incredible history and emotionally riveting.
Please find a way to do season III.
This was the best show on tv. We are so disappointed that you aren’t renewing for Season 3!!!
I LOVED MERCY STREET. Please bring it back!!!!!
So sorry to hear that there will not be a season 3 of Mercy Street. PLEASE bring it back!!!!
Please bring Mercy Street back!!! I love this show!!!!!
It makes me sick that great shows like this get cancelled when there are other shows not worth a crap that stay on for years.
This is sad that they have cancelled this program!!!!! What does it take to have good shows stay on!!!!
So sad! Was really looking forward to its return! So many of the great shows are cancelled😑!
Please bring back Mercy Street….it’s a great show…please!!!!!
Please bring back Mercy Street….it’s a great show…please!!!!!
Please bring back Mercy Street. It was one of the best historical shows available. Please continue with another season. I wonder if you cancelled it because it was about the Civil War! You cannot erase history.
I agree with all of the above comments!! Mercy Street was a terrific show. It does seem like the really good quality shows get cancelled after one or two seasons and the mediocre ones stay on forever. If they had trouble with funding why not hold one of their fundraisers for the show. I would definitely donate to keep it on. Or I am sure there are wealthy donors or foundations out there that would have given a grant.
bring back mercy street!!!!!
this is an awesome series
Very sad about cancellation of this show. It was very a well done historical drama. Very disappointed in PBS decision! I expect this from the big three, not from
PBS!
My husband & I heard about “Mercy Street” before it went on the air and have since been bit by the “Mercy Street bug”. We are so disappointed that it was canceled after Season 2. It’s was one of the best shows, very well done and with my husband having grown up in the Alex. area of Virginia it really created a huge interest. Is there no other station that will pick it up? In agreement with a previous comment, why hasn’t PBS tried to get extra funding for the show or use some of their fundraising money to keep it going? We would love to see it come back.
