July 10, 2016 - In a piece of awareness-building stunt marketing, USA released the second season premiere of Mr. Robot online early for a limited period of time, ahead of the drama's official Season 2 debut on July 13, 2016.
On August 16, 2016, USA renewed Mr. Robot for a third season.
On March 10, 2017, USA announced it had delayed the third season of Mr. Robot from summer 2017, for an October 11, 2017 release.
