About Port Protection
Port Protection is home to the few who have left behind normal society and chosen a different life in a remote Alaskan community, where survival of the individuals and community cannot sustain without the other. The stakes are high. The land is rugged and unforgiving and the seas which surround Port Protection are cold and merciless. With risk comes a reward more profound than mere survival: a world of beauty and freedom with the security of community and without the constraints of bureaucracy. In Port Protection there are no clear roads to survival, inhabitants must carve one themselves.

This is one of the few really good shows on TV. Why in the world should there be a question as to it returning?
I would like to add my name to the list requesting that Port Protection return for a third season. Here in South Florida it was advertised as returning with dates given for the first episode. It’s not fairto the audience or the members of the cast. Please don’t mislead either one; or exploit us just because we become engaged with the cast and the wild beauty of their surroundings.
There should be no question about renewing Port Protection for another season. It shows how REAL people in the bush of Alaska work to survive…unlike that wanna-be “bush” family that keeps getting their show renewed…

I’ve searched most of these sites and can’t find if Port Protection is indeed returning. Of ALL THE REALITY shows, Port Protection is our favorite. No baloney, no “beeps”, and its a joy to watch these people. How do we find out if they will return. Please keep them filming!!!

There are so many loyal fans. I watch most the Alaska shows and other reality shows like port protection. It’s one of a few my wife will watch with me.
Please do not cancel this program. Port Protection of the reality type cold weather shows is the very best one. It’s a lot more realistic and closer to non-commercialism than all the other ones PLEASE DON’T CANCEL. .
This show we enjoyed more than all the other Alaska shows. Real people surviving up there . makes you want to be there with them away from all the bull s t down in the lower 48.. Enjoy all the epsodes watch them over and over. Wish we were younger might be there. Please come out with more seasons.Would give my right arm enjoyed so very much.
