Shadowhunters Season 3 premiered March 20, 2018 on Freeform.
Based on the bestselling young adult fantasy book series The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare, “Shadowhunters” follows 18-year-old Clary Fray, who finds out on her birthday that she is not who she thinks she is but rather comes from a long line of Shadowhunters – human-angel hybrids who hunt down demons. When her mother Jocelyn is kidnapped, Clary is thrown into the world of demon hunting with mysterious Shadowhunter Jace and her best friend, Simon. Now living among faeries, warlocks, vampires and werewolves, Clary begins a journey of self-discovery as she learns more about her past and what her future may hold.
CANCELLED!?!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! it was The only reason I watch to freeform. Where The only reason I watched freeform. Wahhhh.
That was the best show that freeform had. Not worth watching that channel now

Why did you guys cancel it was a great show I never miss it. I don’t think that you guys should cancel I think that you should renew it because there is still a lot of unanswered question what happened to clairie, and what became of the characters in the show.
That is the most terrible decision of all by Freeform!!! I agree, it was the only show that made watching it worthwhile. A completely creative and original genre of programming. Most disappointing–it had the potential to be as successful as Pretty Little Liars.
It was the only show on Freeform that I watched. I do see where they are bringing out a “final” run to give closure, however, I don’t want closure I want the SHOW to continue!!! There are very few shows that kept my attention and that I kept on when they would be returning. This really made my heart hurt and I think Freeform will lose many viewers!
It was the best show that I saw and I want to see more of it . I want jace to find clary and Alex be alive . Then isabell get together with Simon.
I think they made a very big mistake for canceling Shawdowhunters. It’s a Great show. There are so many unanswered questions.I love the show and think that freedom is a bunch of idiots for not renewing the show. I looked forward every week for that show. You all need to keep the show going on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can’t believe they cancelled such a great show! My daughter and I would watch it together, it was our favorite show! I wish that Freeform would reconsider!! I’m so disappointed!
Wow, the show had so much potential. Providing insight to young adults, helping them find themselves and accepting who they are, no matter who they may believe they are. We need this now in America.. So many are trying to find identity.. Shadow Hunters offered so much. What a great loss.. Shadow Hunters big fan…
Hard to believe a show with so much intrigue and story to it was cancelled. Sometimes you wonder. Such a disservice to the show and its cast.

I love the books and the show. And im 47!!! If the show is going to end then at least do us the courtesy of winding up loose ends!!!
I agree, the show should be reinstated. And to the 47-year-old, I’m 73 and love the show. As a retired high-school teacher, I know teenagers and young adults are capable of so MUCH more than we give them, either to do, or credit for, that it was good to see greatness come from young adult characters instead of the same old old-timers. Reinstate the show. I’m not the only “old” person who watched.
I agree with the other 70 year old. I’m 71 and absolutely love Shadow Hunters! I was so excited to see that it is returning mid season.
Please reconsider and don’t cancel it. Give us a season 4. You will also lose me as a Freeform viewer with the final episode of Shadow Hunters.
Keep Shadowhunters going. This is the only show I enjoy that is based on a book series that I have read.
I am done no freeform for me …shadow hunters rocked and now its stopping….
Really a shame to cancel a show with a great following and people really got into it.
I guess sometimes the producers have no clue when it comes to a great program.
Perhaps some other network will give life to such a great series.
I am 33 and I hated the movie but love the. Show please reinstate it please now I have like nothing to watch anymore I looked forward to watching it big mistake of the producer’s

I too agree with the disappointed fans, that Freeform made what I believe the wrong choice of show to cancel due to budget/economics. I think unfortunately they’ll discover they’re attempt to cut back to save $ elsewhere will back fire & result in even more losses. The cast was full of great talented actresses/actors ,the picture quality & filming great and don’t forget the very interesting story of the entire show,the fact that there is nothing on t.v. That I’ve seen with a similar story/character setup. Example there’s how many FBI/COP/detective shows!? Or how many zombie-like shows,do we need?,I could go on the point is this is a unique plot/story with a talented cast,producers ,etc and I hope someone else picks up this show in the future . I feel it would with outlast the 5 yr cutoff that a lot of shows stop at if someone would give it another chance.. Best wishes to the cast & all those that took part in its creation..
Shadowhunters was the best show on Freeform, they should have continued with season 4, many unanswered questions need to be resolved.
Why was the show cancelled? Please bring back! So many questions!
