About Star vs. the Forces of Evil
Annie Award-nominated “Star vs. The Forces of Evil” follows Star Butterfly, a fiercely awesome teen princess from another dimension. After receiving an all-powerful magic wand for her 14th birthday, Star is sent to Earth by her Royal Parents to live with the Diaz family and their responsible son, Marco, where she brings along her own unique inter-dimensional style to her new home. Together with Marco, they navigate high school and embark on dimension-hopping adventures across the multiverse while keeping her wand out of the clutches of arch-nemesis Ludo and his monstrous forces of evil.
Acclimating to life on a new planet with a new family can be challenging, but fortunately for Star, karate-loving Marco acts as her guide, helping her adapt to her new planet. In return, Star helps Marco come out of his shell, teaching him to take chances and make the most of every day, even if that means living a little too close to the edge. Although opposites in many ways, Star and Marco become fast friends and rely on each other as they experience new adventures and challenges across a variety of exciting dimensions. Along her journey, Star must learn how to use her powers responsibly and stay out of trouble, or risk being shipped off to St. Olga’s Reform School for Wayward Princesses on her home planet while she waits to inherit the throne.
Star’s biggest threat is evil villain Ludo, from her home planet Mewni, who, despite his size, ego, insecurity and inept army of monsters, tracks her down on Earth and relentlessly attempts to steal her magic wand. Ludo rules his strong, dim-witted monster minions with absolute authority, whether he’s commanding them in battle or simply ordering them to rub his tiny, weak feet; and he will stop at nothing to capture Star’s extraordinarily powerful wand so he can take over the multiverse.

Disney XD and Daron Nefcy both confirmed the renewal of SVTFOE for Season 3. In fact, the renewal occurred back on March 4, 2016.
One question. What month and day this year 2017 will season 3 of SVTFOE begin?

Daron Nefcy released a trailer called ‘Battle of Mewni’ Which is A special two-hour “Star vs. The Forces of Evil” TV movie event will premiere SATURDAY, JULY 15 (11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. EDT), on Disney XD, and will be available to verified users on the Disney XD app and Disney XD VOD platforms.
Titled “The Battle for Mewni,” the TV movie follows Star as she returns to her home dimension of Mewni where she discovers that magic is disappearing throughout the kingdom. Star must dig deep and challenge archnemesis Ludo in an effort to save her family and kingdom.

Just watched the Grand Finally for season 2 and there is so much suspense!!! I CAN’T WAIT FOR SEASON 3!!!! I DO HOPE IT WILL HAPPEN SOON
Seriously, my theory for this cartoon is that Marco and friends will start searching star in mewni kingdom or in other dimensions possible since he has the scissors to enter different dimensions, or he will sort out his feelings and then find star. either way, I still don’t know what will happen, its just a theory XD
I really also like ludo’s story line, I can’t believe that happened to him because of glosseryck and the book of spells. It awakened toffee, and maybe it was his plan all along!!. still, I can’t wait to find out!! this is a quest!!

It was confirmed that season 3 comes out in the Fall of 20217, but they are releasing the first four episodes of season 3 as a movie on July 15 of 2017. Also Ludo is her greatest threat, so far Toffee is. He’s in Ludo’s body, but its still Toffee. If you haven’t see Toffee yet, then please watch the show he’s scary. The previews make it look like we’re going to get a glimps into Queen Moon’s past, I’m excited
