On July 22, 2016, it was announced at the San Diego Comic Con that the sixth season of Teen Wolf would also be the last, after the network decided not to continue the fantasy drama for Season 7.

Teen Wolf Season 6 released November 15, 2016, with Season 6B (the final 10 episodes) following from July 30, 2017 on MTV.
