About Unlocking The Truth
Love, lust, murder, mystery, suspense...all the makings of a great dramatic story. The catch? It’s not a fictional story. It’s real life. This serialized documentary series follows the journey of alleged wrongfully convicted prisoners fighting for their freedom. We will navigate these cases in an effort to uncover the truth with the highest possible stakes – the lives and freedom of innocent people locked up for life, and the duty to honor the lives of those lost. This series takes an in-depth look into three criminal cases through the unique POV of Ryan Ferguson, who at 19 years old was convicted of a murder he didn’t commit.
Unlocking The Truth Season 1 release date - August 17, 2016 on MTV.

Come on m tv with all the brain drain shows out there keep one alive that’s got a purpose. If not for rating keep it alive on the fact of the good it can do for so many that power shouldn’t be cancelled too lightly. There are so many that wake up EVER day not just in the HELL of prison but in the HELL of being there for doing nothing. Our justice system is bad at its best.bring this to the attention of so many of your younger viewer’s to maybe get their eyes opened to something that they can make a difference about. I knew someone who had a son wrongly convicted And i know he even auctioned his home only to die with that son still in prison and for a crime that’s going to make prison even worse than it is anyway. That’s what brought my attention to the whole situation of our justice system. He ask Me what’d you do if it was your son in there for something you know he didn’t do? I answered go down the road with a bag tied to my back if I had to even if it didn’t do any good. But it’s a question thatbetter make us all stop and picture what that’s like for all involved and then try to picture what can be done to change it .those aren’t pictures anyone should have on their walls.if it doesn’t get changed or the process buckled down on anybody anywhere should look at any free space on their walls and think I may should leave it blank because you never know. Do it mtv
Keep the show let them help those that can really use it you’ve got the power the opportunity to do so.And its a good show too so win win
