Netflix to bring "Designated Survivor" to viewers around the world as a global original series. Designated Survivor will return for a third season as a global Netflix original. The political drama starring Kiefer Sutherland will be helmed by showrunner Neal Baer from global studio Entertainment One (eOne).

Designated Survivor is so well done. We recently started watching Season One and looking forward to going to Season 2 (which Netflex also has included.
Totally done with excellent casting, story line. The settings and action scenes are so realistic and professionally executed.
Just found out that Netflex ‘will’ be releasing a Season 3 sometime in 2019………….FANTASTIC !

I am so hooked on this wonderful show. I couldn’t wait for the library to get it so I bought Season 2. It is less than thirty dollars and now I cannot wait for season 3. Advertise more Netflix so it does not get cancelled. Great show and great acting.
When is the season 3 starting
I am seriously waiting to find out exactly when Designated Survivor will begin on Netflix before I subscribe; I don’t want to be disappointed that there’s been a change of heart on bringing it back! The network made a very bad decision when this outstanding show was cancelled. Not exactly sure how a plethora of insipid reality shows remain on the networks, yet D.S. gets the ax!
To each his own I suppose, but it’s hard to believe that more viewers missed out on this fantastic show.

On September 5, 2018, Netflix and Entertainment One announced they had reached a deal to pick up Designated Survivor for a third season of 10 episodes with the latter being solely responsible for production of the series. The third season is set to premiere on Netflix on June 7, 2019.[3]
