The fifth and final series of Poldark starts filming this week for BBC One and writer Debbie Horsfield can at last reveal how she will be approaching the new season. Poldark series five will film in Cornwall, Bristol and surrounding areas for transmission in 2019.

I have been watching Poldark since the beginning and I was looking forward to a lot of seasons of this show. It gave me something to look forward to each week. This is an amazing show and the cast did an outstanding job keeping my interests. To not make a season 6 would be unwise cause you have an outstanding tv show and cast. I’m asking you all to please continue with Poldark.

Please continue the series with #6 season. I love the characters and the cast that plays them. Like others have said, there is a lot more of the story line to tell.

We are so wrapped up in this magnificent program. When I first heard that it was cancelled, and that’s what I got, I almost cried. Please we have to get to finish this wonderful production. It is totally cruel to stop now. I’m going to thank you right now, in trust that you won’t cancel it. Thank you.
have to watch poldark because my wife makes me. love the cinemetography but am so worn out with these stupid people and all their drama. the show is like a 19th century kardashians and i don’t like any of them either.
Can’t believe season 5 is the end of this wonderful series….for one thing, season 5 left at least 10 major cliff hanger lines…most prominent the mugging of Ross by Maceron’s cronies at the very end of the final season episode!
Season 5 ended in such a manner we must either see a true final season, or, accuse the producers of the series with extreme bad faith and lack of concern for an enormous audience who has followed Ross’ heroics, Demelsa’s saintliness and George’s total evil since the beginning!

Oh, PLEASE reconsider….Poldark is my favorite. It is so well done and the story is no where near finished. What a shame to hear it cancelled when there is so little worth watching on TV.
Please bring back Poldark for season 6. Best show!
