About Salvation

Salvation is a suspense thriller that centers on a staggering discovery: an enormous asteroid is just six months away from colliding with Earth. Without alerting the public, MIT grad student Liam Cole and tech billionaire Darius Tanz team up to save humanity from this impending apocalypse. Keeping it secret will complicate life for Liam and those closest to him. Meanwhile, the government has its own approach. Grace Barrows is both the Pentagon Press Secretary and a single mom, and she deftly navigates the complicated waters of both jobs. Deputy Secretary of Defense Harris Edwards has been tasked with running their own top-secret plan to deflect the asteroid. Meanwhile, Darius recruits an aspiring sci-fi writer, Jillian, to work on a theoretical approach to saving humanity—a project that might prove to be all too real. Salvation stars Santiago Cabrera, Jennifer Finnigan, Charlie Rowe, Jacqueline Byers, Rachel Drance, Shazi Raja, and Ian Anthony Dale.

Les Moonass better get his hands off of other’s asses, and do his job. Renew the best shows and stop moving some (Bull) to new nights where it will fail.

Les got canned. He’s involved with saving his “golden parachute”, presently. That would be his “Salvation”.

    (apologies.)

Salvation is one of the best series in a long time! Great characters, plot twists and amazing acting. The subject is relevant and topical. Santiago Cabrera carries the show masterfully, and the chemistry between the characters makes the show work superbly. Please renew for a season 3! We have enough law, hospital and police series out there. Salvation is a differentiator for CBS. Keep it please.

Bring it back. We have enjoyed the two seasons it was on. Don’t leave us in suspense. If anything make this a final season to close out the series.

What! I just watched all of season 1 and 2 and couldn’t stop because it was so good…there has to be a season 3. I never comment on things but this show is one of the best I have ever seen.

Canceling Salvation was one of stupidest things CBS could have ever done. It was interesting and kept a person on edge waiting for the next show. Why do they always cancel the good shows and leave stupid ones on. Seems like all CBS thinks anyone enjoys is shows with sex, cussing, and low morals. There are some of us out there that likes to watch a good show.

I agree. Been waiting all through the regular season for this exceptional show.. I’m loosing confidence in CBS and their ability to entertain with quality shows.

It is pretty ridiculous that CBS can’t at least finish out a series. Hopefully one of the other stations will pick it up and continue through a final season. Doesn’t make since to leave your viewers just hanging and feeling like watching a show CBS is a waste of time. I for one will dodge series on CBS for the time being. Just don’t like the way it was handled.

I agree! If a show has been on for 2 seasons or more the least a station can do is have a final episode to tie up the loose ends and give its supporters closure! The show Timeless actually did that! Somewhere, somehow there needs to be an agreement with these stations that they cannot cancel a show without a final show! Too many shows have ended this way! No everyone is a fan of all of the stupid reality shows. Some people want to be entertained with good writing! I am not entertained by Naked and Afraid and all of the other nonsense like that!

I rarely watch fictional shows! I am more of a nature, history, PBS buff. Salvation took me to grass roots (where I live ((Boston)), and the sciences of college). This series was well done, not predictable, not CSI over kill, not police this or doctor that. Salvation was something we were lacking in Prime time, well written, well acted, and most of all different. The fan base as suggested by my fellow viewer’s stands, attests to what I wrote of. I do understand the cost of production, but for the sake of us fans please allow us CBS, as was done for the show ‘Timeless’, the opportunity for us fans to have close. The benefit is for channels around the state’s that’s syndicate to rerun this series, and this it is a win-win. Kind regards Brian Mulligan, Boston, MA.

I can’t believe Salvation is cancelled. I loved the characters and the show was very entertaining, I hate that every time I get into a show, it is pulled out from under me. Most of the time with no ending. Change your mind CBS and bring it back.

I have been waiting for a final episode as most viewers whom have enjoyed the first two seasons.
This is one of the best Sci-Fi series I have watched. Very disappointed CBS chose not to wrap it up with a final season or at least with an extended final episode.

Salvation is a great show and then it gets even better with a surprise at the end of season two. We want more. What is the matter with you guys. They should fire the whole bunch that keep canceling these great shows. What are you watching silent movies.
Leave Salvation alone and renew it for the third season if you do I know there will be many more seasons of this interesting show.

CBS. You MUST air the 3rd season. This has been one of the finest shows you’ve shown us. Waiting for it anxiously all through the regular season. Nothing even close to comparing to this well written, acted and presented show. Come on listen to the viewers !!!

Please continue this series. Perhaps ratings were low because you didn’t advertise. We stumbled upon the show and couldn’t stop watching until the last episode of Season 2. NEED to finish the story…
