About The Son
The Son (AMC) canceled, but S2 will still air beginning April 27, 2019.
The Son will follow two concurrent time periods: One, the story of young Eli McCullough after he is kidnapped and indoctrinated into a tribe of Comanches in 1849. The other, 60 years later, when we see a grown Eli struggle to maintain his family’s cattle empire during the turbulent Bandit Wars of South Texas. The Son is based on the acclaimed Philipp Meyer novel that was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 2014.

The Son was a really good TV series . Why does AMC cancel all the good show ? I don’t know who makes the decision for canceling them but maybe you need to fire them !!

Your programming staff leaves a lot to be desired. Whoever makes the final decisions on which shows stay or go doesn’t know what he or she is doing. Reschedule season 3 of The Son. It would be the right decision.

Television series of this caliber are few and far between. I heard that “The Son” series was cancelled primarily due to Mr. Brosnan’s unwillingness to continue making more episodes. If this is accurate, my friends and I would urge AMC to consider working around his character. He’s dead anyway, for Pete’s sake (pun intended)! But seriously, we could witness the trials and tribulations of Jeannie, the heir apparent, Pete, The Son, and Maria, the vivacious victim-villain. PLEASE RECONSIDER!!!!

Please please please continue this saga of the McCullough family of south Texas! I love this two in one series & love the characters! there are not many series available out there like this…anywhere! every scene is intense, riveting & gripping! if you want action, lust, greed, this series is worth watching! Pierce Brosnan is brilliant in portraying the ruthless Eli McCullough.
