About The Village
Welcome to the Village, an apartment building in Brooklyn that appears like any other from the outside but is quite unique inside. The people who reside here have built a bonded family of friends and neighbors. Sarah's a nurse and single mom raising a creative teen; Gabe's a young law student who got a much older and unexpected roommate; Ava must secure the future of her young, U.S.-born son when ICE comes knocking; Nick's a veteran who's returned from war; and the heart and soul of the building, Ron and Patricia, have captivating tales all their own. These are the hopeful, heartwarming and challenging stories of life that prove family is everything - even if it's the one you make with the people around you.
Why did you cancel this show. It was one of the best shows I have watched in a long time. Shame on you NBC, you suck
Amazing . . . finally a show we looked forward to seeing and it’s cancelled! So perplexing that every network has cancelled the programs that make watching TV enjoyable. So over all the reality shows and comedy (if that is what you can call it) sitcoms!
So ridiculous. Finally, a show with some heart and true emotion. Cancelled, why? I looked forward to a show were people of all walks of life come together for each other. This is what we need more of. Not cop shows or senseless dramas with no substance.
You cancelled this show??? What were you thinking! It deals with the realities of life and wholesome people/families working together and supporting each other with encouragement and love. Oh I forgot. You’d rather keep smut on your station and hokey comedies with poor writers. BRING BACK THE VILLAGE!

I was sooo looking forward to Season 2 of “The Village”, only to find out NBC has CANCELLED IT!!! I am so upset by this. This show had the same caliber of greatness that “This is US” has become. Try a new time slot or something…you are losing a winner of a show. The cast of actors and actresses were impeccable. I am so tired of reality shows, Looks like everyone will miss out on this huge loss.
I am also disappointed in the cancellation of The Village. I really enjoyed it. Maybe you should reconsider.
So sad they cancelled this show. It was definitely one of the best shows I have seen in awhile. I think they should definitely reconsider it. looks love me they have many followers. Very disappointing! It seems any shows that touch you in the heart they cancel.
This really sucks that this show was canceled. I loved watching this show. Now we will never know what happened to the the baby and all the rest of the gang. Really a show that it finally worth watching and of course you canceled it.

VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED that The Village was cancelled. Great cast and many opportunities to explore many relevant issues of today with a focus on kindness which is sorely needed in this world right now!

I am a Christian and I don’t watch most of the Junk on TV. I was really looking forward to The Village and This Is Us…..I AM MAD…..Well……One thing for sure…..THESE ARE THE LAST DAYS !!!!!!!!!
Not sure what show was first, but I do know Midnight Texas was one I loved and now The Village, I agree I will not tune in to NBC anymore, you totally SUCK!!!!! Talk about leaving things up in the air, no more, you’d better start making better decisions or everyone will boycott you as I am now. I still hope other networks pick up Midnight Texas and now The Village too. The only way to turn things around is to bring these shows back and stop cutting them off at the first chance you have!!
