About Vikings
Vikings (History) will end with the upcoming 6th season, though the network is considering picking up a spinoff series. The final season will air in 2019-20, with the cable network and creator Michael Hirst are discussing a "continuation" of the show's world.
I only subscribed to the History channel because of “Vikings”. I am upset to hear that some Moron in head office made such a bad call. The show and cast are absolutely addictive. Perhaps Management in History should be cancelled from their employment

I’ve been steaming all day since I read they have cancelled Vikings. I really enjoyed the show. How do you go through 6 seasons and then oh well we just won’t have a ending crazy.
Wow! I cannot believe this. The Vikings is one of the best shows on TV. Why would your network cancel it? I too will end my History channel subscription. Unreal. Everytime I get into a series, some nut job cancels it. Should have done a survey before you made this decision.
huh ???? really ! This is very bad idea indeed ! I absolutely hate it when a series is going great and has hopes of continuing a story Then right in the middle of the story..bam… it goes. Never actually ending or concluding a series. At least bring it to a conclusion

Unthinkable! Why cancel a tv show (The Vikings) that has such a strong and dedicated following? The sets and scenery were the best on tv. Great actors. Such believable story lines based upon accurate historical research. Whoever decided to cancel The Vikings needs to be replaced.

this sucks! One of the best history channel shows to ever air. Can’t believe they did this. always looked forward to tis show weekly. you can only see this on history channel archives anymore. what was management thinking! they need canned!
Who is the idiot that cancelled this EXCELLENT series? Fantastic actors, great costuming and scenery, great story line – based on reality – popular and with a dedicated fan base. We looked forward to each week’s episode eagerly. Fire the fool who cancelled it, not the series. Wise up History channel.

SELDOM did the “History Channel” actually have shows about…um…uh…”history.” Mostly just crap about digging at Oak Island or Pickers…shows that are low budget, no scripts, no writers, no actor, no drama, nothing! “How CHEAP can we make our shows?” is no doubt their bottom line. Surprised they don’t have some amateur dance and song shows like the other networks do. PATHETIC!!!
I could not agree with you more ! I watched ” Vikings ” religiously and enjoyed it immensely. As you mentioned,
the rest of the shows on History Channel is not worth watching .
I know without any doubt, that Vikings has a HUGE following. The demand for this series has to be an all time high, above many others. Why would they just throw this away and the director/ writer already moved on to other things? Nothing they do will ever be as good as Vikings. Also guys, I am with you , will cancel my History Channel subscription…. Truly sad they decided to do this at this time…
all the Crap, reruns and over abundant amount of commercials they have one thing worth watching and only one, they drop it – what a bunch of dumb azzes’s – so I drop them like the others
Please we need very one in America to cancel the history channel from the cable companies they subscribe from to get Vikings back I have done cancelled mine along with a few hundred others but that will not be enough we will need millions to drop the history channel.
Hey history channel, if you have a hit show but companies buying ad space aren’t getting the returns they want. Is it possible that the advertising departments for those respective products and services are not a good match for your viewers? Is it possible that their commercials suck? Maybe the producers and directors of The Vikings could help them out since they already know what Vikings fans want. Pull your heads out already!

The Vikings went on in real life They blended in and changed the World. In the magazine at the start of the show said “They are still here and we see them everyday”. That much is true. There is so much more. My eyes are open and I see them everyday.
How the hell is History so out of friggin touch…this is one bad bad decision…Vikings is one of the best series I have ever seen
