Wild Life with Bertie Gregory: Resurrection Island follows 25-year-old National Geographic wildlife filmmaker Bertie Gregory (@bertiegregory) on his journey to one of the most remote and spectacular wildlife destinations in the world - iconic South Georgia Island. Join Gregory as he gets up close and personal with some of its remarkable inhabitants, such as macaroni penguins, fur seals, wandering albatrosses and more. This sub-Antarctic island is teeming with one of the highest concentrations of wildlife on the planet, but that wasn't always the case. The island was once the scene of one of the worst wildlife massacres in history, as the hub of one of the world's busiest whaling stations. The series serves as the latest example of National Geographic's expanding portfolio of engaging, premium digital content that will be published and promoted across all platforms, including a special broadcast premiere on Nat Geo WILD.
