The Amazing Race Season 30 released January 3, 2018 on CBS.
THE AMAZING RACE is a multi-Emmy Award-winning reality series hosted by Emmy Award-nominated host Phil Keoghan. This season, 11 teams will embark on a trek around the world. At every destination, each team must compete in a series of challenges, some mental and some physical, and only when the tasks are completed will they learn of their next location. Teams who are the farthest behind will gradually be eliminated as the contest progresses, with the first team to arrive at the final destination winning THE AMAZING RACE and the $1 million prize.

Best Show on TV today Hands Down
I really enjoy the Amazing Race. I have watched all 30 seasons and look forward to season 31.. I do however have some comments: When the show first started the paired contestants were average folks. Now it seems that you need to be some sort of celebirty. Also, the obvious effort to come up with PC balance of the contestants make the new Amazing Race look a bit contrived. Will I still watch AR? Of course I will, but I’ll miss watching average people participatating.
I love watching the amazing race. Can’t wait for the next one. I miss watching it twice a year. I would like to say I was very disappointed of this last one. If you people ever seen a set up this was the one. Team Yale should have taken all the way. But looks like they just handed it over to BB. Very disappointing. I will continue watching and hopefully that won’t happen again.
Amazing Race is my favorite show….miss not seeing it twice a year. Can’t wait for season 31!
Can hardly wait for the next season to start. Such an awesome show. Would be nice to have normal everyday people race instead of celebs or from other shows.
I hate reality shows, except for your fantastic show! You travel to amazing places. I get why you put celebrities on the show, you have to get viewership or the show will cease. I never want that to happen. In this crazy world we are living in, we need to escape with the truly Amazing Race!! I don’t care who your contestants are. I just love your show. Don’t make me wait too much longer!
The Canada version is on CTV if you have internet TV watchable on Tuesday evening, 5pm and 6 pm pdt depending on part of Canada tuned in to. They give away a car, trip and $200k to winners.. It is half over.
I love the show but I miss the really grueling tasks from earlier years. Most of them are now just a quick stop, get it done, and move on. When the tasks are difficult it mixes things up and you might have the first arriving team head out last. As others have said, I prefer average, ordinary people to celebs as well. And I really don’t like U turns. It’s just too powerful of a tool to knock out a team.
I was expecting Amazing Race to return this month, in November, after waiting all year. Am disappointed with the new release date now sometime in January 2019. I HOPE Amazing Race continues. It is without a doubt one of my top 2 favorite shows to watch (next to Survivor). The worldwide locations, different cultures, the unique challenges, and the couples, whose relationships are pushed to the limit. Love this show, and also the reality star duos like Cody and Jessica was so much fun to watch. They truly made a great pair, both so supportive and positive, despite their competitiveness.
Loved this show for years but got turned off by same sex teams. Could we please do without untraditional pairs. Thanks!
april 17 is a fri not a wends
I have religiously watched The Amazing Race since the beginning. This season I did not see any advertising that a new show would be beginning and the date it would start. I was shocked when I saw the show was airing May 1, 2019 on CBS in my area. Then to find out after checking the internet that that was episode 3!! I could not see how I could have missed episodes 1 & 2. Well after checking my TV Guide on April 17 and April 24 the show “Million Dollar Mile” hosted by Tim Tebow is what aired on CBS. I was not interested in watching that. I am very upset I missed episode 1 & 2 although I can probably watch them after the fact if I can find them somewhere on the internet. If this happens again I just may stop watching The amazing Race. Besides, I have been watching “Relative Race” on BYU and that is an amazing show.
