Why do shows like Shannara and the Dresden files keep getting canceled when the crap like the Bachelor, Dancing w/the Stars and other so-called reality shows, just keep on going on and on??
Is it too expensive to keep writers, actors and others who actually work in the entertainment industry??
If so, then is it still an entertainment? I say we boycott these programs, let’s see how long they last. Aren’t they there for our consumption??
Of course they are but today the worship of so called famous people and celebrities seems to be more interesting and selloing than good drama. At leas we have the books to read!
Firefly, Dollhouse, Shannara… these so called professional networks know nothing. They take away the escapism element of entertainment and instead constantly bombard us with “reality” tv which is nothing but wealthy elite douchebags flaunting their undeserved wealth and fame. We need to change this society.
