Timeless Season 2 premiered March 11, 2018 on NBC.
Season 2 of this thrilling action-adventure series will pickup right where we left off with our heroes. We continue to race throughout history with our beloved team: Rufus (Malcolm Barrett), a scientist; Wyatt (Matt Lanter), a soldier; and Lucy (Abigail Spencer), a history professor, in an attempt to prevent the destruction of our world as we all know it. This season they’ll find an unlikely ally in their quest to ruin Rittenhouse, a deadly organization with plans to change history and reshape reality — even though Lucy’s family has been a part of Rittenhouse for centuries. Still making every effort not to affect the past themselves, they will visit 1692, 1917, 1941, 1981 and more. We’ll be introduced to the likes of Marie Curie, Hedy Lamarr, William Randolph Hearst and a multitude of other influential people throughout history.
I’m Michelle Jarvis, timeless is….. just amazing!! i love the concept rittenhouse reminds of the illuminate. I find myself anxiously waiting the next episode i really do hope it’s renewed for a 3rd season. X

It is not exactly accurate to say that the show is cancelled for season 3 and to say nothing else about it.
While it is true that there will not be a season three, there will be ONE more episode that will be the length of 1 to 2 regular episodes and that will finish the story.
Thank You NBC! (But I am STILL MAD about the very undeserved cancelling of Surface.!)

Well it probably will be cancelled because that is these liberals work they keep the shit shows on and leave the ones fans like off . but that is like NBC there part of the fake news so their for they don’t care .
Timeless has to come back. If you want people to watch your other trash shows, than you need to keep the good ones alive – or we will just cancel you!
I think season 2 was even better than season 1. And the cliff hanger for season 2 makes it imperative that there be a season 3. It is a program worth watching.
again it was battling with 4 shows before it’s finale aired, but nbc failed to pick up either guess who died with hector elizando, which allowed him to re-join lms,and la’s finest with gabby union, as those were the other 2 sony shows it was battling, and the only other show was the blacklist and it’s renewed
I watch only one show on TV – Timeless. This is the best drama on TV for the past two seasons and I really want to continue watching with a Season 3.
Seeing Lucy at the Royal Wedding made me wonder what on EARTH they were there to prevent!!! Ask yourself. If it isn’t renewed WHAT COULD HAPPEN????
NBC needs to renew for seasom 3!!! There is a serious lack of good sci-fi on mainstream tv these days and fans want it!!!

I enjoy the history lessons from each episode however, the episodes keep violating the protocol of the very first episode: “You CAN’T interfere with History or else you’ll make changes that might disrupt the present. The killing of people, in each episode, keep getting worse and appear to be without concern of the “Prime Directive’. However, I still hope there’s a Season 3.

I totally agree! There are so many crappy shows on TV, especially on NBC. There is a great historical show that teaches kids history with adventure and intelligence, and then the show gets cancelled. NBC should have their head examined because the network is as unintelligible as our president.
Bring it back! Really? It is the ONLY series that I watch on regular TV. Other than reruns of MASH…. Otherwise who cares about all the sorry shows they do put on…I mean really…. they don’t use the f… word, they don’t show sex scenes, they don’t curse constantly, they don’t have gory excess, they don’t have a bunch of people making crash remarks….. hmmmm…. I guess that’s why it’s been canceled! How sad!
this is a great TV show …one of the few if not the only good thing on television..NBC is retarded to even think of cancelling this…in the future illb like the old star trek series and start a whole big ass franchise and these dummies dont know what they got.i say make a third season.i will pay off in the future.and youll make yourselves look less stupid NBC
this could turn into a whole thing like those guys that appear on star trek the next generation once in a while and they’re the “time police force” that goes back in time fixing errors and things they could develop a series that occurs in the near future where they’re having multiple time travel missions going on for multiple purposes different teams specializing in different parts of history….great for history lessons…the potentials for spinoffs is crazy….somebody gets left in Chicago 1930 ..there’s a spinoff..leave somebody out in the bush in 1906 fighting alligators and weird lizards in caves…there’s another spinoff..a show about the general of the time police force in his office office commanding the whole operation , he’s giving the overview of our time-span and making correction/changes sending out colonels and captains to do the missions..preventing destruction of the human race and stuff..duh.introduce different technologies for time travel… the star trek episode “assignment earth” comes to mind watch that….he was a “time cop”… you can do anything with this series the potential is limitless or should i say timeless..so there; there’s some free ideas for you….so get on it .NBC

What gives, NBC?? Timeless is an excellent, thought provoking show, and the best sci-fi program in years. Are you just gonna leave out viewers who prefer a quality program?? I don’t follow the masses. Are you just a follower? So, you are not capable of daring to be a leader?
Great show. I love history and yes some parts are different than what really happened. Example the Kennedy Curse he was killed in Austin not Dallas. I still believe it is a wonderful show and should have a 3rd season.
Please bring Timeless back. There’s so very few tv shows worth watching. I hate all those FAKE reality tv shows that cram the airways!!

I sure would like to know who they polled to make this decision, because it sure wasn’t me. My wife and I not only enjoyed the show, but the history, too. The storyline could have gone in any direction, just like Law and Order: SVU that has been on for almost 20 years. Shame on you, NBC……shame on you.

It’s once again a shame that a show like Timeless gets the short end. Great story line, educating and fairly wholesome, things that don’t seem to sit well with NBC. If the show contained nudity, depicted lesbian and homosexual relationships you can bet it would still be on,
You have to bring Timeless back, there are still so many unanswered questions. How did Lucy & Flynn first meet? Will they save Rufus? (Both regarding traveling into your own timeline.) Will it be POSSIBLE to defeat Rittenhouse? Will that reset the timelines for our travelers, ie. bring their loved ones back as they were?
There are so many shows on NBC that are an insult to one’s intelligence; so what did the whiz kids in charge do? They cancelled an excellent program, Timeless, that, in addition to being very entertaining, recreated some great times from historical periods of history. I guess that the program was too good for the viewers who are happy to sit in front of a TV and watch mindless programming for hours.
Whom did NBC ask about viewing? No one asked me. Had they done so, I would have explained why Timeless should be given a third season. Excellent story line and a great cast of characters. And no gratuitous sex, no foul language, no excessive violence— Aah! That’s the reason it is being cancelled.
Well NBC has made ANOTHER bonehead decision. Evidently the programming folks at NBC are totally clueless as to what constitutes a good show. Timeless was a good show.

It’s really a shame to lose this show. I really enjoyed it as I am a big history buff and loved being taken back in time. I know it was battling against other good shows but maybe a different night or time slot would have helped. It is written and acted just awesome. I just feel this was a sleeper and just needed a little more time to catch on. I just hope one day this show gets a second chance.
Timeless is one of those shows that gets it right in which entertainment, adventure and history are blended well. Acting was great and ensemble was seemless. Characters were engaging. So what was wrong with the show that had to have it cancelled?

a fabulous cliffhanger at the end of series 2, that deserves a 3rd series and a 4th…5th………we are learning all about history!please don’t disappoint us NBC.!!!
I believe that this is very well thought out story, which should continue. Not many original story lines come out on TV. Most of the stuff on TV is crap. I really enjoyed watching this series and I think it is a dam shame that it is coming to an end. I hope that they have a rethink on their course of action.
WAY to go NBC, thanks for nothing. My only hope is that another NETWORK will pick up the show ” TIMELESS ” so I and MANY others can watch our favorite show ” TIMELESS ” on ANOTHER NETWORK. How do like them BEANS now ?
I love Timeless. This show is fantastic and i refuse to believe that it is not coming back. Maybe a lot of people wereI’t watching because they are so wrapped up in cable shows. The regular network shows had gotten so bad that no one was watching. This show however is amazing. Some network has to pick this show up. It is everything that a television show should be. It is not for any one specific demographic because all of my kids watch it and we all love it. Somebody please pick this show up.

This show is fantastic and I am so sick and tired of the good shows being cancelled and the “junk” shows survive. Timeless holds my attention unlike many many other shows on network tv. It is well written, (love the story lines) interesting and the actors are great. Please keep the series going with another season.

NBC Please reconsider. Timeless is an excellent series with an extremely flexible plot line. The way that the series can revisit significant points in history and make it work within the Rittenhouse agenda is so seamless and completely believable. The possibilities are “endless”. The fact that the series can accomplish this with a cast with mixed celebrity status speaks to the quality of the story line. Even though the finale has aired there are ways to bring it back…
Why on EARTH would you guys cancel this show? It was incredibly well scripted, the cast gelled very well and the story line was creative. I could do without pushing the gay agenda, but that seems to be a part of every show. (Be as gay as you want, just don’t cram it down my throat)
Anyway, bring this show back!

I can’t believe NBC have cancelled Timeless. It’s one of the best TV shows to come from the USA. As someone who lives in the UK I couldn’t wait for it to be shown over hear. I was always trying to find ways to watch it early. Don’t be a bunch of plonkers bring it back.

Why does NBC want to cancel a show that is smart and original? I hardly ever watch TV anymore except for old shows. Don’t make the same mistake that was made with Startrek.
The fact NBC cancelled Timeless and added Abby to the new line up shows that TV studios still have no real handle on its viewers and are more in favour of bending to show sponsors and ratings keeping the notion audience member are stupid and don’t know what Television is are one of the many reason people are moving away to cable and streaming TV
